  • OAR Supporting PM UAS TOGA Ground Control Station Development

    OAR is supporting the Army’s Project Management Office for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (PM UAS) by providing Army COE (Common Operating Environment) and FACE (Future Airborne Capability Environment) expertise to the TOGA (Tactical Government Owned Architecture Ground Control Station) Ground Control Station (GCS) team. The goal is Army COE and FACE conformance to achieve maximum portability and interoperability of the government owned unmanned air vehicle (UAV) ground control station to achieve agile acquisition and warfighter capability deployments supporting the portfolio of small UAVs.

  • OAR Selected to Support Model Based Systems Engineering Initiative at AMRDEC SED

    OAR has been selected by the Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center’s Software Engineering Directorate (AMRDEC SED) to integrate Model-Based Acquisition, Development, and Sustainment into SED’s engineering and business enterprise. The objectives of this model-based initiative are to enhance support to the warfighter by shortening development times, improving system and software reliability, satisfying increased requirements for system safety (e.g. DO-178), security (e.g.

    OAR recently completed the requirements to remain certified partners with Microsoft Corporation and ADTRAN, Inc. These strategic partnerships not only empower the OAR staff with modern and powerful technologies, they also provide significant benefits to the OAR IT department which is extended to our customers.

    OAR has been nominated for a Small Business of the Year Award with Huntsville Chamber of Commerce. This is a great honor and a tribute to all of OAR’s employees and families for helping OAR to standout and be recognized in our community.
